Lady Gaga responds to PETA attacking her for wearing fur. Little Monsters, you’re watching ClevverMusic. Mother Monster has been under FIRE this week after being photographed in various fur jackets over the past week. Renowned animal rights organization PETA is taking issue with her fur fashion choices, calling her a hypocrite, without really knowing if the fur is real or not. In a statement on PETA’s blog “The PETA Files”, VP Dan Mathews recalls a statement she gave to Ellen DeGeneres in 2010: “Many of your gay fans, I among them, have long admired what you told Ellen: ‘I hate fur and I don’t wear fur’ … these recent photos of you in fox and rabbit and with wolf carcass make it appear that you have amnesia… Are your stylists telling you that it’s fake, or are you a turncoat?” Dan went further, comparing Mother Monster to Kim Kardashian. “…wearing those dumb furs in a heat wave, you’re making yourself a target just like the mindless Kim Kardashian.” If you recall, Kim was flour bombed by a PETA member earlier this year for wearing fur. Dan ends the statement asking for a response from her, and we’re shocked that he actually got it!
